- Sardines of the coast of Mexico seem to be predicting another tsunami. Thousands of
sardines, anchovies, stripped bass and mackerel crowded towards the shore in
Acapulco, Mexico signalling that a tsunami could be on the way. As these fish rarely
swim near the shoreline, experts have said that this could mean that there are strong
currents that a tsunami is on the way. Fishermen took advantage of this by abandoning
their boats and nets and filling up buckets of the fish.

- NASA scientists have discovered a massive crack across a glacier in Antarctica.
Which is as huge as 19 miles long, 80 meters wide and 60 meters deep. It was found by
scientists working in Antarctica and then a picture was taken from space by NASA’s
Terra spacecraft. Eventually the crack could extend all the way across the glacier and
create a big iceberg.

- A beach in Scotland has been closed down because experts have detected
dangerous levels of radioactive materials under the sand. It’s thought it’s caused by the
hundreds of old war planes which are buried there. The Ministry of Defence has been
told that he has until the end of February to come up with a plan to make the beach safe.

Los niveles SLP de competencia lingüística en las Fuerzas Armadas Standardised Language Profile (SLP) se definen del 0 al 5, que describen la Language Proficiency (competencia lingüística) según la habilidad comunicativa del candidato. Estas competencias lingüísticas (listening, speaking, reading y writing) vienen representadas en forma de dígito (cuatro concretamente) que determinan el nivel.
- SLP 0000: sin competencia.
- SLP 1111: supervivencia. Este nivel es el requerido para el acceso a suboficiales y cuerpos comunes.
- SLP 2222: funcional. Este nivel es el que se necesita para acceso a oficiales, la mayoría en puestos en el extranjero y misiones internacionales. Además, es el nivel que se necesita para obtener puntos para cursos y vacantes de la Guardia Civil.
- SLP 3333: profesional. Requerido para altos puestos tanto en Territorio Nacional como en el extranjero.
- SLP 4444: experto
- SLP 5555: nativo de elevado nivel cultural.
